Yes I had changed to the 284F cam and put on the new macho heads. I also installed a timing chain tensioner.

It felt like I hit the laughing gas button! Wow, 7500rpm's was seen. That's the most I ever had in a car. My '69 Super Bee 383 would turn up 7200rpm. I know that end may not be all usable power but it's nice to know it goes there. I think it will need the dual-quads but I gotta try the single too. Then I/we will know for sure.
