We had to do the same thing on a 71 Cuda one time.....can't remember how we did it but it looked and worked out well.....years ago and the pics from doing it are locked up on a hard drive that took a crap on me with about 25 years of research.....EL SUCKO!!!!!!

Do you have a photo of where the bolt so we can see it?  I can't picture where it's at.  A shop in your area that does install of tops should have or know where you can find a bolt.  We have 2 places in Tacoma, Tacoma Screw and if they don't have it we have a automotive clips and bolts and screws, between them both I've never been let down...yet...these damn chryslers...I'm sure I'll get screwed soon.  :)
