You both are following my thoughts, but where can I find a replacement
swage bolt? I figure I can place a solid metal backing behind the bolt (to
protect the top since the bolt is most accessible when the top is up), and
drill, baby, drill. Would be easier if the top was junk, but it is
nice.

Drill it out and replace?

My 64 Fury convertible has a broken factory "bolt" in the top
frame that I think was "swaged" in. Any easy way to get this out and
any idea where I can find a part to replace it? The top tries to go
up and down without it, but the scissors-movement of the top frame doesn't
work with the broken part.
Thanks for any assistance.
