Convertible Windshield Question

Can the winshield and its framework be unbolted from the body on my 65
Bel II vert?  Sure would make it easier to do the cowl repair work but
it does not appear that it will come off.  Other makes of convertibles I
have had in the past would do this. Thanks in advance.
