When my son James was approaching the age of 16 we started talking about getting him a car to drive to high school. I have been 'a car guy' since I was a kid, and my son liked cool cars too. I expected we would get a Chevelle, Camaro or Mustang for him until one evening we went to the local cruise in at a hamburger place and saw a really clean 65 Coronet 500 for sale. Wihin a week we owned it and he drove it with joy until he started college a few years ago. We intend to build a stout new Poly for it ala Gary P. and for James to have for his kids someday. This club has been incredibly helpful for tech info and links to sources for parts.
