Re: Pulsing engine?

Ethanol is bad enough. Here we get, all summer, "reformulated gasoline". Don't ask me what they reformulate it with. The reason they sell that kind of gas is to "lessen pollution", expecially to water (from leaking gas tanks and even the vapors are bad). Reformulated gas is even more of a pollutant than plain old gasoline is. Plus the reformulated stuff gives you a few less miles a gallon and you can feel that your car doesn't have as much power as with non-reformulated gas. In about another month we will be back to plain gas again. Hooray!

Yup, there is no other choice but ethanol blends in my area: no retail outlets sell plain old "gasoline" without ethanol here.

By the way, http://www.pure-gas.org/ lists stations that sell ethanol-free gasoline in the U.S. and Canada. Maybe some Mopars owned by people on this mail list can get a sip of the real stuff. :)

Thanks,
Gary H.

A car jetted for plain old gasoline will always run lean when alcohol is
added to the gas. ... It
costs less at the pump but not everyone sells it ...
