Whatever paint, apparently the key must be to spray numerous very light coats. I read somewhere that BBQ paint is typically a good heat insulator that goes on very thick. Probably what Eastwood was promoting about their thin spray radiator paint, i.e., that it is thin by design, as opposed to thicker solvent formulas.
