Re: Source for some 318 Poly engine parts

Although I don't have a Poly engine, I'm glad to see that some people have been hot rodding them for quite some time.  Its a shame no one ever developed high-flow, big port heads for that engine.  That's basically the key to getting big hp from any engine.

Imagine if the Poly had been hot rodded from the start instead of being almost totally negleted.  I'm amazed at what you guys have accomplished working with what you have, which wasn't much to start with.  Now you have different combo's that work for any situation.  Those motors are going to be rare soon too.  Obama's clunker law will have them all crushed down, melted and sent off to China.  Then each Poly motor becomes more valuable.

Yes, that is my friend Craig Fountain’s company; absolutely fantastic/quality parts.  His latest creation is finned aluminum valve covers for the 354 Chrysler Poly.

His 318 Poly finned valve covers are beautiful and really make the Poly look huge!

Feel free to contact Craig via e-mail for a set of his 318 Poly covers or any of his other fine parts.

In the latest issue of "Mopars Collector Guide" they give a company in Australia a story about the products they make.  They feature in the story air filters made for the oval air cleaner assemblies for Poly's with a single or two four-barrel carbs.  They also make finned valve covers for the 318 Poly.

Their web address is www.polymuscle@xxxxxxxxxxx

I hope they have some other things for poly engines and maybe this link will help someone out.
