I have 2 1962 413 blocks that came out of a boat neither has the extended
back on it.

It will have an extended housing on the rear of the block where
the trans bolts. About 3 inches or so. If not then you should
be good to go. The extended block was used in marine engines and some
had an extended crank that required the early
transmissions. From what I can see of the engine in your
picture it looks like it should work. Call me if you have question and I
