Re: Opinion on ignition

I would rather see  you put an nice sounding dual exhaust system on it before the manifold change,,,, I think you would reap the harvest quicker on the exhaust than the manifold change,,,,,,,,,as far as the ignition, I would probably go to a U pull it and get a used mopar ECU unit for it, you should be able to switch it over for less than $50, or even go one step farther and get a rebuilt distributor to add to the u pull it parts, seeing as your working with a 383 you have lots of options for used and repopped parts,,,,,, if the main seal leak is minor, I would probably let it go until the winter months, it is not much different than other brands, but is definitely not an afternoon job for most people,,,,,,,,,,

Not race or anything, just putt around on weekends and drive on highway everynow and then. No high performance, although I'm really itching to put a new intake and four barrel on it :P. But I guess I'ma hold off.

Before your questions can be answered it would be helpful to know what the intended use of the car will be,,,,, and no,,,,,,,,110 K is not a lot of miles on a well maintained mopar
