They did build the marine and max wedges on a different assembly line.

I've asked the seller for more pix and particulars (id pad stampings), specifically the crank flange as that will be a determining factor. He's 150 miles away so trying to get as much info as possible via e-mail at this point. Might get lucky, it could be a 64 426W too with that casting number...(although I doubt it...but you never know!)

Block casting numbers would have nothing to do with the rotation, that is decided by the internal components,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and still could not see enough on the heads,,,,,, does the waterpump attach to the heads? can you see the flange on the crank?
