Ditto on the brakes. I use drum brakes.
The whole braking system is brand new. I put carbon-metallic shoes on, the
standard size for standard size drum brakes, I think it was 10" all the
way around. If I don't blow a wheel cylinder or a master cylinder, I'm
OK.
The cost of the shoes was around $220 for all 4
wheels. You should be able to find them on the web. Or PM me if you
want them and can't find them. A cheap fix to handle a lot of horsepower
cheaply and effectively...or you can make it completely buttetproof by using a
dual-master cylinder for the brakes and if you are luck you will have at least
one brake on each side of the car working if you blow out any one wheel
cylinder.
You probably have so many suggestions you are
getting confused. Just stick with the basics on Gary's web site if in any
doubt.
