Hey all, I'm going to look at a car I found tomorrow morning. Its a strange bird ,as it came factory with 273, 4 speed, 8.75 rear, and factory front disc brakes. At first I was jumpin up and down thinking it was a formula S but he says theres no tach in the dash. It doesnt have the stripe, but it has been repainted. So I don't know. I have been racking my brain about whatever the Formula S cars came with. Help me out; Stripe, tach, beefier suspension ( leafs and t bars), special exhaust with resonator, better steering box, maybe front discs ( but not necessarily , as my old 65 Formula S DID NOT have front discs. And it also had the 7.25 rear. But it was a definite formula s car. According to the numbers this is one of the last 65 cudas they could have made,( unless i am not reading the tags right), according to my book it was completed april 19 of 1965. I know april is the cutoff. It runs and drives well he says and the body looks to be very nice. Original medium poly red with black interior. I am gonna take pics and email them to u guys neal zimmerman, eugene oregon -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" group.
