Re: Bumper question

Putting a coat of anything on them can certainly not hurt anything, one
added note, before you go to hang your new bumper tape some towels on the
quarter panels to protect them until you have the bumper bolted in place, seems
no matter how many hands you have during installation the bumper wants to
kiss the body,,,,,,

I had my bumpers redone and the plating company told me to paint the back

Subject: Bumper question

Hi all, it's been a while sense I've posted anything but here goes. I'm
about to mount my newly rechromed bumpers, the question is should I
paint the back side of them? I live in Florida and salt hangs in the
air, I'd hate to think in a few years I might have rust problems that I
possibly could have prevented.
Any thoughts?
