I had my bumpers redone and the plating company told me to paint the back side of them with Tremclad aluminum brush paint. I must say they do look a lot better and will probably last for years. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Phelps [mailto:mikeph@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, March 28, 2011 1:17 AM To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Bumper question Hi all, it's been a while sense I've posted anything but here goes. I'm about to mount my newly rechromed bumpers, the question is should I paint the back side of them? I live in Florida and salt hangs in the air, I'd hate to think in a few years I might have rust problems that I possibly could have prevented. Any thoughts?
