Isnt the intake angle different between the two -----Original Message----- From: Stan Kafouse [mailto:skafouse@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, March 11, 2011 11:33 AM To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: I wanna go faster Now theres a thought turbo charged 318. Turbo from a 5.9 cummins would work. Do you know you can change the cam and put wedge heads, W2, cast no. 302 swirlport, etc. on a "poly" block. Now too your intake selection just opened way up. The biggest gains you get with any engine is zero deck and a closed chamber head., unfortunatly most chysler heads arent. The 302 head on a 318 with zero deck is a great combination. That is a big advantage of ed heads etc. You can get a lot from stock parts with the right combo and machine work. My 10 to 1 steel head 318 ran great on 87 and got 21 in a ramchrger. --- On Fri, 3/11/11, Donnie Schanz Jr <dcs426@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Donnie Schanz Jr <dcs426@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: I wanna go faster > To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx > Date: Friday, March 11, 2011, 4:21 PM > > Ive made alot of things go fast in my day, but looking > back, I wasted alot of $$$ doing it.
