Re: Radiators

I saw a number of mopar 22" radiators at Doug's when I had my radiator redone thru his guy. You might try moparts of las vegas also, if you have part numbers for the radiators that fix, OR if you have the dimensions of the holes, and distance from top.

I think at times the Mopar radiators are similar but the side brackets
that attach the radiator to the car are different. Scope out / measure
the mounting arrangement of the radiator you found to the mounting holes
that should be still on your Chrysler's radiator support. If close you
may be able to fab something.

You may want to check with http://www.mooresautosalvage.com/parts.asp
and http://www.cbodies.com/ for a core donor.

Hey everyone,

So when I bought my 64 Newport Convertible the previous owner had put in
a big aftermarket rad, so big he had to relocate the battery to the
   trunk.
I'd like to put it back under to hood, so have been looking around for
an original size rad.

I've found a recently recored rad locally, part number 1686201. This
appears to be a 22" wide rad from a 57/8 Plymouth...just wondering if
anyone knows if it will fit my 64 reasonally stock like.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Jay
