Gary, I don't know if you got any responses on compression testers yet but here is my choice. Any unit that screws into the spark plug hole, I can check in the shop tomorrow, mine might even be a Craftsman kit. It has several adapters and an extension and good gauge. You might even try Harbor Freight. It is not absolutely necessary for the gauge to be extremely accurate. As you know you will be looking for a difference between cylinders.
