Re: 426W block color

Thanks for Gary and Don giving me the tip to order paint from Bill Hirsch. I
have the paint on the way. Also thanks for telling me to change to plain text so
you can read my posts. I have a 65 Sport Fury 426SW with a 4 speed that I found
on ebay 2 months ago. I had a similar one in college that my father had bought
new in 65. Looked for a long time to find another one. This one has a straight
body but needs alot of work. On Wednesday I pulled the engine and am starting to
detail it and the engine bay. I need a new clutch bell crank and push rod if
anyone has a source for me to go to. I have purchased a donor 65 Sport Fury that
I will be stripping for parts but I haven't got it yet. If anyone else is doing
one of these C bodies I'll have lots of parts available, including a complete
working AC system. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance. John

Not Chrysler blue, but turquoise. Yes, Mopar Performance sells Turquoise engine
paint, but the word is it is not the exact correct shade.
I'm told Bill Hirsch paint is more authentic.

Eastwood also sells a correct version: Ceramic Engine Paint Quart 1962-1971 BB
Chrysler Turquoise Item number 51622 ZP

Check with Brewers and Passon Performance for the tranny parts:

Thanks,
Gary H.
