Camshaft lifters

Ok
Here's my dumb question of the week.
Can you change hydraulic lifters out and install solid lifters?
I just bought a nice used set of roller rockers along with an almost new set of solid lifters and like the cam that is in my car right now but it is hydraulic.
Any help appreciated.
