I will leave that to Akron Don. My parts are tagged and loaded away for
years in my storage garage. I cannot say whether all assembly plants used
the different brackets, but we know this for sure...anything goes when it
comes to Mother Mopar and which parts were on which cars.

So the throttle cable bracket on my 64 Dodge 383 4-speed car is not the
correct one??? I’ve often wondered when looking at it, - why did - they use
the same bracket on a 4-speed car as they did on the automatic equipped
cars? I figured it was a matter of being economically convenient and it
worked, so why not? It just looks odd seeing that big empty U shaped part of
the bracket sitting there doing nothing. So what does the right one look
like anyway? Is it describable? A pic sure would help.
