RE: wiper arms

On my 64 the wiper arms bolt on to a threaded stud. When I went to get
new blades I found my blades riveted onto the arm itself. Showed it to
an old timer I know and he said they were severe duty... police cars,
taxi cabs ect. He drilled the rivets and atached new blades with new
rivets. On a side note he bought a warehouse full of obsolete blades in
the early 70's and has a load of rare nos wiper blades and arms. If
anybody ever needs something unusual.
