Gary, Go with the 2-Ton unit. I have the foldable unit. I have one that I bought a number of years ago. It pulls my 383 with the T-10 4-speed attached with absolutely no problem. Using it with the leveling bar makes it almost a one person job. My wife just keeps it from swinging as it comes out. The fold up part is great. I looked for an American made unit - no luck. When I buy tools I always look at where they are made, amazing how many of the the name brand tools are off-shore.
