HI guys! I was just scammed, well almost. I have my 1964 dodge custom 880 Convertible listed on Craig's list for sale. I received an email from some woman that wanted to buy it for her boyfriend as a surprise. This was the first red flag. A few emails later, she included a phone number from Seattle and also said the asking price was fine with her and she would conduct payment through Pay Pal. Not a problem there. However, this morning I got another email from her stating that her credit card had expired and would it be alright for me to use mine and pay the $950 required for the shipper to come get the car. With this payment, she would add it to the price of the car so I would get my money back. Second red Flag! I told her the car has been sold and contacted Craig's List complaints. I called the Federal Trade commission and reported it, including the phone number from Seattle. You have to be very careful in dealing with stupid people! The Dodge is safely sitting in the garage, happy and content!
