Bill,
	Take a 1/2" wrench and a drain pan under the car with you.  Remove
the bolt holding the finger clip and set the clip and bolt aside.  Position
the pan under the cable fitting and carefully pull the fitting out from the
tailshaft without pulling on the cable housing - only pull on the fitting.
You'll generally get a cup or so of oil, so dress accordingly.

	There is a spring clip that holds the pinion gear to the cable
spindle - pry the clip up and off to remove the spindle.  Important note: if
you're changing pinions, be sure the new pinion has a lip seal down inside,
as this seal prevents cable leaks.  Seals are currently made of unobtanium
but we're working on it...

Anyone have some tips for pulling the speedo gear out of a 65 Coronet?
That area looks completely dofferent from a later trans and I don't want to
screw anything up!
