If you cut a fram filter in half and compare it to "any" other filter, you will find that "any" other filter is better. A few years ago I cut a fram, bosch, mobile 1, ac delco, and stp in half. It was laughable to see the lack of filtering material in the fram. The mobile 1 was the best with the bosch coming in second and the stp filter was better than the ac delco. It is an easy way to find out if you are getting a good filter or not. Synthetic oil is so much better for your engine. Makes it run cooler, much better lubricating and lasts longer.
