Nico,
I will probably get hammered for this one.......
If I was redoing another vehicle, unless it is a super stocker; I would very seriously consider going with a 340 vs 440.
my reasons
more user friendly fuel wise/ daily driver
less common eng/we are rapidly approaching the 440 show in our Mopars, i.e. the 350 ch***y in everything
better fit / less cooling problems
Just my $ .02..presented free of charge

The rocker chrome on the Bel was a much smaller piece than the Satellite. The Satellite is as wide as the rocker itself.

Thanks Ollie for the info, my Bel II has side and rocker chrome with bench
seats. The 318 is seized but am intending to put a 440 in it anyway.

As John said Satellites had no side chrome, but wheel well and
rocker panel chrome, plus the rear side "shark gills" They were an
up graded Belvedere, I and II being post and no post cars. Ollie
