RE: Late model Hemi

It's not for novices. There are a lot of little bits and pieces you have to
round up and the motor mount situation is not optimal.

If you are a good fabricator and have the ability and/or resources to handle
the computer and fuel injection situations, then rounding up the additional
parts is probably not a big deal, but this swap is not a bolt-in.

There are carburetor and distributor ignition packages available, but if
you're not going to take advantage of the computer controlled ignition and
fuel injection, why not just screw in a 360?

Again, just my $.02. I'm runnin' out of pennies.

Hey all,

Has anyone done or considered placing a late model Hemi (5.7 or 6.1) in
their cars? I have one in my 08 Ram and it is a pretty bitchen motor. I am
guessing it would be a pretty difficult conversion. Any info?
