So I suppose I have completely forgotten that before I dropped off my Fury at the body shop (its been 2.5 years there) that the gas tank had sprung a leak somewhere near the top, so looks like I am going to have to get that fixed as well. My plan is pulling the motor right before it goes to paint (hopefully within the month) and sending it to get rebuilt. I will drop the gas tank then and take it somewhere to get repaired. I have had a couple inquiries and have gotten a wide variety of quotes from $60 to $500+ to repair it. I've done some google searches and it appears they dont make a reproduction tank for a 1965 Fury, only for the 64 and then the 67 plus. What is reasonable, who usually repairs fuel tanks, and what should I expect them to do? Thanks!
