I'm a firm believer that a hotter spark and multiple spark discharge WILL help performance. Granted I've never owned a race car or anything close to it, but when I have done ignition upgrades to vehivles, there was a noticeable difference. Even adding MSD and a hotter coil to a modern vehicle will be an improvement. Case in point-I had a 98 Dakota, 5.2L, 5-spd, 3.55. I added an MSD and an accel super coil to the system and it DEFINITELY had more power. Certainly wasn't worth 2 sec in the 1/4 but the improvement was there. Same thing when I upgraded the ignition in my Coronet-Pertronix + hotter coil=noticeable improvement. -- Bill M 65 Coronet 500 'vert http://1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/mmo62008.html 73 Dart Sport, 00 Cherokee Sport, 01 Dakota SLT 21 Model T Depot Hack, 92 Accord, 06 Mazda 3 ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
