Paul, your SS springs are 1" longer on the back segment  than the spring 
specs in Nicks post. And you had a little problem  mounting them , like as 
if they were to short.  My head  has stopped spinning and now spinning in 
the opposite direction. :-)........................MO

This thread has guys all over the world laying under their 'B' bodies
measuring their spring things ;-).  Mine are the SS springs p/n's
P3690456 & 457, ordered from Jeg's, 3400#.  They measure 20" on the
front section & 36" on the rear.  I was tempted to report something odd
just to make everyone's head's spin, but that would be cruel.
