Ron,

I have some insight on the one.  Yother owns all the licensing for Melrose
Missile and wont use Grove's name or let anyone else for that matter.  Its
all about $$ I guess that's why its History (His Story)  (-;  Whom ever
wrote the book is how it is remembered unfortunately but happens all the
time throughout history.

I've been waiting for a long time for these cars but they're making the
wrong ones. As the website says, there is conflicting information.
 
 
 
Back in the day Tommy Grove used his mother in law's house as his staging
area when he ran at Pomona. I lived right across the street at the time. I
have a picture of the Melrose Missle, one of 2 AWB Plymouths made for the
Winternationals the night before the racing started. I believe the other was
the "factory" Golden Commandos team. The original AWB Melrose Missle was
Grove's car, not Cecil Yother's as mentioned on the website. There's still
alot of conflicting information out there regarding these incredible cars.
 
 
 
Regardless, I'll be buying one of each. Hope they do the Dodges too!
