If they both use the solid bracket, yes. The C-bodies got a pivoting bracket and a slightly larger pump, so if your 440 has the wrong bracket on it, it also has the wrong pump.

I have a rebuilt 440 HP engine with a Federal P/S Pump that was leaking from the main seal. On my 318 Poly i have a Federal P/S Pump that's in mint cond. with about 20,000 miles on it. My question is,,can i inter change the better pump on to the 440 brackets and be able to use it with no mounting problems. Thanks,,,Jay Rod. ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
