P/S Pump change over Question.

I have a rebuilt 440 HP engine with a Federal P/S Pump that was leaking from the main seal.
On my 318 Poly i have a Federal P/S Pump that's in mint cond. with about 20,000 miles on it. My question is,,can i inter change the better pump on to the 440 brackets and be able to use it with no mounting problems.
