Re: pushrods

When I went from stamped to roller rockers on my 440, needed to replace the pushrods.  Comp Cams and others have an adjustable pushrod which is used to get the determine the correct length.

Subject: pushrods

Couldn't sleep last night so I went out to the garage and fired up the heater and started doing some pre-fit work.
stuck my roller cam in and slapped a head on the block with my roller rockers.
Stuck a new adjustable push rod in and it is too tall.
Slid a stock rocker on the shaft and the only difference is that the stock rocker is wider.
The roller lifter looks to be the same depth as a stock one.
Stuck on this one.
Anybody have some magic that they can pull out of the hat.
I am thinking of maybe using push rods from a small block but they might still be too short.
