Is there any dis-advantage to using the thinner head gasket? . On my engine build plan, I was thinking to use the thinner gasket and if to much compression, install the thicker one---does this make sense?........................MO ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donald Gallimore" <dongallimore@xxxxxxx>

You can do a Google search for engine math sites out there where you can work on what compression you have. You can try the two gasket thickness' to determine whyat the different compression ratios will be. You'll need to find out the CCs of your heads or use the published values (and hope they are close to what you have.)

any thoughts. thanks jack -- [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
