The engine photo shows the machined pad in front of the intake, which
indicates it's a 'RB' block; plus the 426 came with chrome valve covers, and
they look like original covers, but who knows? You can sell anything if you
find a buyer with
more money than sense.........
The linkage holddown on my 4-speed doesn't have the U
shaped guide on it...........Warren

Wow, what a find. Not sure if it's as rare as the seller would like to
think it is, but what a nice car to restore.
One question you 4 speed guys would know... Take a look at the engine
photo
- the throttle cable bracket in particular... Did the 4 speed cars have
the
big "U" shaped guide for the kickdown linkage or has this been "diddled"?
