Rich,,,,,,,going by memory,but could find it again,,,,,,,,but on the max  
wedge intakes they actually added speed bumps and small divots to the floor 
of  the intake to cause the air flow to bounce and hit the venturi area 
headed for  the valves, and without some way of measuring the actual flow, I have 
a feeling  that you may be messing with the laws of nature,,,,,,,,,,,,and 
may very possibly  causing more damage than good
