Re: Car Club Ideas

Hi Bill,
One thing we do that's a lot of fun and generates a few bucks, is set garage tours in the area. It's pretty amazing how many cool and different set-ups, collections and cars that people have that most people don't even know about. You can always see something you haven't seen before or get ideas for your own garage or house by going on the tours. We charge a small fee for each participant and always include a couple stops for refreshments and possibly a snack.

Subject: Car Club Ideas

I'm looking for some fund raising ideas for our local car club of
which I'm the president...Sun City Cruisers in Rising Sun, MD. The not
very motivated group thinks that a dance (which we literally make a
few dollars with) is a good idea and I'm tired of this waste of time.

We have 2 car shows each year that we do pretty well with, but it
seems like a very few people end up doing all of the work. I'm looking
for any ideas that anyone might have that might get people motivated
about the club, and make some money to boot. We are non profit and
donate quite a bit of our $ to local charities.

Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
