On my 65 red Belvedere the core support had a very thin coat of matte or flat black. I read some where that depending on the body color there was a quick spray from underneath as it went down the line. This is consistant with the way mine looked before the repaint. I haven't decided if I'm going to black it out, don't know if I can bring myself to spraying the shiny red core support. I know for sure in 1966 the dark colored cars were left alone but on the light colored cars The radiator support was sprayed a matt black (and not very neatly) behind the grill. If stock is black, is it gloss, matte or flat? Thanks! ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
