Everytime I shut my engine off for a few minutes (10-15) and re start it, it is back on fast idle. Is the choke spring tension too tight?......................MO ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ollie" <satellite1965@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Same carb here...I let it do whats its supposed to do. By the time engine warms up a bit and everything smooths out (running a cam) it has come out of fast idle. One foot tap and it slows down it normal idle. Have not adjusted anything on it. On restart and eng is warm...everything is normal.Ollie----- Original Message ----- From: "MO ( Steve Mick)" <micher@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 1:42 PM Subject: Re: Holley adjustmentPaul, I am using that same carb . It is set for two stages of fast idle till the engine warms up enough to stay running.. I start the engine, let run just about ten seconds , blip the pedal just a little so it goes into the slower of the fast idle steps, and then I have to let it warm up some more so it doesn't die when I push the go button.A little aggravating, but I haven't looked at the directions to see if it can be changed.........................MO ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Lennemann" <pjlenn@xxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 11:44 AM Subject: Holley adjustmentSince I'll be getting my car back home soon, I have a nagging little problem I need to get fixed. After going through the engine last year I changed to a Holley Street Dominator carb w/ an electric choke. Even after setting the choke full lean it still loads up like crazy until the choke starts opening up. Any Holley guys out there have an idea how to tackle this? Paul L.
