Paul, I am using that same carb . It is set for two stages of fast idle till 
the engine warms up enough to stay running.. I start the engine, let run 
just about ten seconds , blip the pedal just a little so it goes into the 
slower of the fast idle steps, and then I have to let it warm up some more 
so it doesn't die when I push the go button.A little aggravating, but I 
haven't looked at the directions to see if it can be 
changed.........................MO
