Chris, I have had a couple of sets of the Dynomax Super Turbos on my max-wedge (okay, in an A-Body) and I love the sound... the best word I can think of to characterize the sound is "husky". Over the course of a few years and many 1/4 mile passes they get a little louder and a little louder then one day things start dancing off the shelves in the dining room. A new set definately made a difference. I never really noticed anything I would call popping under acceleration or deceleration - the closest thing was a pleasant "poppety-poppety-poppety" from the turned down tailpipes at idle... Not loud or blatty even when completely blown out.
