I used the same SEM color coat as on the door panels, plus SEM satin clearcoat.. you'll also need the "Adhesion promoter" and either "Vinyl Prep" or Eastwood's "De-greaser" the Eastwood steering wheel kit comes with the "Adhesion promoter", "De-greaser", and PC-7 (to fill cracks) I did the wheel 2 months ago, and is holding up well.. I wear a wedding band, and drive daily. and it hasn't scratched yet, but will chip if you hit it hard enough (there is one tiny chip where I hit it with the metal end of my seat belt) Steve Charette wrote: > > Looks fantastic - what did you use to paint the steering wheel?? > > -----Original Message----- > From: 62pluckedchicken@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:62pluckedchicken@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Monday, August 03, 2009 11:27 PM > To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: finally got upolstery done.. kind of > > > oops.. screwed up the url > http://www.timelesstransport.com/inexpensive-auto-upholstery/ > > > 62pluckedchicken@xxxxxxxxx wrote: > > > > While waiting around to my suspension parts...
