Hi Jason,The guy who offered you the 4-piston calipers and discs for $30 is giving you a GREAT deal, I wonder if the spindles are the same.I would suggest sending them out to get stainless sleeves installed, they become trouble free for life then. My 71 Dart had a nasty habit of freezing up about every other winter so they had to be taken apart and resealed, not a big job but a pita. Fine lines has stainless steel brake lines kits for them also, again trouble free and that's the way I love my old cars. It's hard enough keeping up with valve springs on the big roller cams, we try to keep everything as simple as possible. I also have a set of small bolt pattern rallye wheels for sale. At any rate, welcome to the board, there a bunch of terrific guys here who are glad to pitch in and help.

Kevin Merkley wrote:Hi, I've been following this thread occassionally and I thought that a 62 Dart was a B body car. I would not want to shove on 5x4" rotors on that car. I'm fairly certain that it has 5x4.5" hubs now. I suspect that the 73-76 A body set up or other compatible set ups would be more appropriate. Sorry to have butted in but I'm concerned about Lester getting the wrong items. I'll crawl back under my rock now. K. Tom Watters wrote:If you get the Disc's and Calipers from Gary, Minimum, you will need backing plates for the disc's Unless you have the heavy spindles, you will need them as well. If it is a /6 car you can most likely count on needing them. I think the way to tell is if If you have the 9" standard duty front drum brakes, you will need spindles. You may need a proportioning valve as well, I'm not sure of your master cylindar setup. --Tom LUCAS, JASON AM2 (VFA 195) wrote:What else will I need to do the convertion if anything. You can rebuild the calipers for your early A-body; they are worth more than that for a core charge; just want to see someone that can use them.
