Re: Marcus' '63/cheater slicks




They appear to be recaps using truck tread.  The tread comes in big rolls &
different widths and can be installed on any core.  If you get good traction
it really doesn't mater were the tread comes from. (:  Do they work well?

Speaking of cheater slicks, I bought some used ones at Mopars on the strip
a couple months back, does anyone recognize them, I have not seen any with
this  tread design cut in them, they are recaps on good year eagle casings,
am  thinking that they may be hurst, but do not know, they can be seen at
