Re: What CD player installs in a 65 Satellite... FM converter and Sirius

That's me Rich...got a Sony AM/FM, CD , amp, 4 speakers and never turn it on in my Satellite. I want to hear that 440 run, ear tuned to any change, rattle, squeak..don't worry...its never dead silent anyway..wife loves to rattle on and have not gotten tired to listening to her yet after 35 years..radio ain't worked in my truck for a few years, might fix it some day

Uh, I don't use a radio much. Too distracting for me. I made about 4
trips back and forth, alone from NE to CA without a radio and was happy
as a clam :-) I love to drive!

me some real insight. I have a working AM 220 radio in one of my 64
Sport
Furys, was struggling with how to get some sound out of it. Back in
1964, I
lived in rural Nevada. At night, we'd get skip transmissions from a
radio
staion in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, about 1200 miles away. Only rock
station
we could receive out in the desert. It was strong from about 6PM to
midnite. I'm sure you all have similar experiences. Now.....I have a
sirius
portable unit and can use it in my Sport Fury when on the road. How
cool is
that???
