My perspective might change if I had more money than time ;) My CFO (the wife) only allows me one old car at a time, and initial cost must be less that 10K... So I can't say whether, I like the things I can do myself or "learned" to like doing those things myself. I don't think anyone would accuse Jay Leno of not being a "Car Guy", even though he has an army of people to build and maintain his cars.
