When I did my 64 Poalra, I went with Dynomax ceramic headers from Jeg's 
($289), H-pipe equalizer from Jeg's ($32), straight pipe back (about 
$40) to Flowmasters ($150), then had a shop bend me some tailpipes 
($100). I also installed repopped Roadrunner exhaust tips ($100). That's 
a little over $700 and I had to do it myself, but I got it the way I 
wanted it, too. You could save $250 by buying painted headers and just 
turning the tailpipes down.
