NO it will not hurt at all! You will be adding an additional failsafe measure to your system! I would keep the fusible link the same size as stock, even though you increased to a heaver wire their are other items in the circuit that will be in play. Ever heard of the straw that broke the Camels back! Also their will be no restriction at that point but it will be the weak point and that is the whole idea behind the link! I hope I covered it well enough and this helped. I have a 1964 and 1965 barracuda wiring diagram in front of me. The chart shows no fusible link at the starter relay for 1964 but it does for 1965. should I add one in or just leave as is?? they have some at the local parts store, but my concern is that because i have stepped up this circuit to 10ga. wire rather than the original 12ga. wire it will be hard to judge what size fusible link to insert. The guy at the parts store said u choose his links by the gauge of the wire the original was in, SO ,he only has the stock 12ga. wire/links. and also if i inserted the 12ga fusible link wont this create a restriction at that point as well. sorry i know this is a little confusing neal zimmerman, eugene oregon [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
